Typically up here in the Canadian prairie winter-land most enthusiasts park their cars for the winter and buy a ‘beater’ to get through the cold arctic months. If you don’t fall into the enthusiast category you are probably the type of person that buys a vehicle that works best for you for year round use. A very popular choice up here is the compact SUV segment of the market. The Honda CRV being a very common and popular example.
Non-typically you get the enthusiast that buys a set of winter tires for their summer performance/sports car and drive it year round. Here in Regina there are a couple of Porsche 911 Turbo owners that do this and the fine gentleman that owns the car below. All-wheel drive is good in the snow after all, isn’t it?
Money to burn…
Poor thing. It’s probably crying inside.
My neighbour drives there 2011 Shelby GT500 all year round.
Weird if you ask me!
You’re paying for the car, might as well drive it!
I mean as long as you neutralize the salt it really won’t do much damage to you car.
GTR is the best winter car ever I thought?
