Monday here at DODOlogic means a weekly dose of information for our readers. Whether or not our readers care about the information I share is another story. You seem to come back every week and listen to me blabber on about stuff that I find interesting which makes me feel somewhat special. Enough about me, more about drifting, and racing and cars and PRIZES!
That is correct. I said PRIZES. During SEMA week we posted a picture of some swag that the traveling DODOs collected from the floor of the SEMA Show. Well guess what, we are giving it away in a couple tidy packages. The first package will make it’s way to our Facebook wall this afternoon and to have a chance of winning the package all you have to do is make sure you take care of THREE little tasks. First you will have to make sure you ‘like’ our DODOlogic page (if you don’t already). Second, we ask that you ‘like’ the picture of the sweet stuff we are giving away. Last, but not least, comment on the picture. When commenting you can tell us how much you want to win or you could tell us a funny story from the weekend or maybe some other random thing. The choice is yours. Later this week we will randomly choose a winner and will verify that they have completed the THREE easy tasks. If all checks out you win.

Now on to local drifting news. Driftwest.ca along with Spec-D look to be running a blended PRO/PRO-AM series in Western Canada in 2012. So far the tentative dates are spread over four weekends next summer in Edmonton, Calgary and Penticton. This is good news after DMCC announced earlier this fall that they weren’t going to be returning to Western Canada next year. Everyone should make sure they get out and support this new venture as drivers and spectators to make sure there is a stable series in the West for years to come. We will keep you posted over the winter with any updates we receive.

Also making his rounds on the internet is Chris Gonzalez of Winnipeg. We may have mentioned him a few times here at DODOlogic. Anyway Chris looks to have made arrangements to do some drift events on a trail basis at the Gimli, MB road coarse next year. To make this happen he needs a commitment of atleast 10 drivers willing to put down a deposit. For more information hit up Chris on Facebook and he will fill you in.
