It is Monday again and you have stumbled upon the Rundown. It’s that time of year when things up on this side of the Canadian border start to wind down before winter makes it’s first appearance. Hopefully winter can wait until December or something though. I don’t know what point I am trying to get across except for that it is getting colder and winter is on it’s way………..
……..and since winter is on it’s way, us here at DODOlogic wanted to get everyone together again for a little meet. Back in May we hosted ‘Defrost’ and were suprised shocked with the turn out. This past Tuesday we announced we were going to get everyone together again before the snow falls for Fallout. Fallout isn’t a show, it isn’t a competition, it is just a chance for everyone in the community, no matter the make or model or age of their car, to get together and shoot the shit.

This past weekend Mr. Shawn Brown and the boys from Drift Union hosted D-day 17 in Penticton, BC. DODOlogic contributor and Hotboyz Drift King Jordan Hall loaded up his SR-powered Miata along with DODOlogic Photographer Jason Gellner and DODOlogic Bodyguard Kris Gohlke and headed west to partake in this event.
From all accounts the event was a blast and we will be sure to bring you coverage once the tired crew rolls back to the flat lands. For the time being I present to you Eric Zapata from Hotboyz Drift doing his thing.
The Spec-D Calgary Calendar is closing out this weekend with the much anticipated Sunday Funday at Race City. For more info visit: http://www.spec-d.ca/2011/06/sunday-funday-3.html

We are only a couple of weeks away from the 2011 Formula Drift series finale at Irwindale. It would seem that the majority of the drivers are overseas participating in other series and are keeping their skills in check while doing so.

Everyone knows about ZR Auto out of Calgary. We have made plenty of mention of them here on DODOlogic. It would appear that the owner’s Edo Competition prepped Enzo whent for a swim during Targa Newfoundland action not too long ago.

The very last Japanese Indy Car race looks to have taken place yesterday on the road course at Motegi. Scott Dixon won while Will Power and Marco Andretti shared the podium in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Canadian Alex Tagliani finished 4th.

Next up on the Formula One calendar is this weekends event in Singapore. Sebastian Vettel is looking to become the youngest ever double world champion.
