There is nothing like waking up on a Monday Morning realizing that it is Monday and then realizing you haven’t started your ‘Monday Morning Rundown’ post yet. So I apologize in advance for being short with you this morning. It is going to be one of those posts with very little salad and a lot of the ‘meat and potatoes’.
Busy times in the DMCC world. This upcoming weekend we have the 4th and final round of the the DMCC West series taking place in Penticton, BC. It should be a good show with some different drivers taking part and possible spoiling some of the series mainstays in their bid for the championship.

Also this weekend out east the Eastern DMCC Series is at the St-Eustache Autodrome where it is teaming up with the XDC to hold a huge cash purse event. Maybe it is just me but I thought when this event was first scheduled it was two different events and two different tracks? Am I going crazy here?
Anyway this should be a pretty good show and we will talk about it next Monday.

DODOlogic’s good friend Shawn Hawley is going to be doing a bit of a guest blog here sharing his experiences on the DMCC circuit. Our main man RyanB has it figured out and hasn’t told me when it will go live but I am told it will be soon. Keep checking back.

Round 6 of the Formula Drift series took place in Las Vegas this past weekend and Rhys Millen found his place at the top of the pack taking home 1st place. Darren McNamara took 2nd and Matt Powers had another strong weekend after qualifying 1st he locked down 3rd place overall.

NASCAR seems to have made its way back in to the Rundown for the second week in a row. Kyle Busch has lost his drivers license for 45-days because of the little problem he had back in May. Lexus handed the keys to a yellow LFA to Mr. Bush back in may so he could take it for a test drive and he managed to get caught doing 128mph in a 45mph zone.
Luckily NASCAR doesn’t require a valid driver’s license to race and Kyle can still make his living turning left.

The Formula One summer break is over and the cars took to the track at Spa for the 2011 Belgian Grand Prix. It was more of the same-old. Here is how it ended:
2nd – Mark Webber
3rd – Jenson Button
Next up is Monza in two weeks.
