It is just another Monday here at DODOlogic and that means it is time for just another Monday Morning Rundown. I don’t have anything else to really interest you with in this little paragraph, so lets just get on with it…….
Round 6 of the Xtreme Drift Circuit season took place at PGP in Kent, WA this past weekend and Formula D mainstay Walker Wilkerson dominated the action on the track. He qualified 1st overall, won the insane entry contest and probably would have edged out Nate Hamilton in the final tandem battle if it wasn’t for his rear end taking a crap. (His differential, not his bum)
Final podium looked like this:
1st Nate Hamilton
2nd Walker Wilkerson
3rd Mike Phillips

The next action on the XDC calendar is up here in Canada at the Saint Eustache Autodrome. While it isn’t a points round on their championship schedule, they are giving away a ton of prize money.
DMCC East Round 4 went down in Montmagny, Quebec this weekend and Miroslav Ovcharik took the top spot on the podium. Dave Briggs finished 2nd and Tanner Munson 3rd.

Formula 1 is on their summer break so there is no race results to share with you. The next date on the schedule is August 28 in Belgium.

Those of you that have been wondering where the hell Sam Hubinette has been the last few rounds on the Formula D calendar don’t need to worry. The internet is telling me that he has been off cruising around with Jay-Z and Kanye West in their modified Maybach. If you didn’t know about their Maybach you can check it out here. The Crazy Swede is doing the “stunt” driving on the video.

Mazda is halting their Renesis engine development and because of this the RX-8 won’t have an engine so that is being halted as well. It is unclear whether or not Mazda will ever produce another car with a Wankel. Maybe Mazda in considering a V8 swap? Haha.
