Monday Morning Rundown: Is it Friday Yet?

So it is Monday morning and I wish it was Friday afternoon already.  None the less some stuff happened over the week/weekend and I will share those things with you now…….

Back on the weekend of the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, Pirelli announced that it was going to give some seat time in a 2009 championship car to Ken Block. Then a couple of weeks after that it was noted that Ken may be too large to fit in the car that was originally driven by Jarno Trulli. This past week Pirelli officially axed Block from setting ass in the car because he is a ‘monster’.

Everyone remembers MR. Bean cruising around in his little Austin Mini. In Real life his name is Rowan Atkinson and he drove a McLaren F1. Why ‘drove’ in the past tense? Well it seems Mr. Bean wrapped his McLaren around a tree last week and got away with only minor injuries.

The Indy Cars ran Mid-Ohio this past weekend and the podium had Scott Dixon in first, Dario Franchitti in second, and Ryan Hunter-Reay in third.
