Last month I had a chance to travel 1500km west and attend the Drift Union Invitational in Penticton British Columbia. While I was there I had a chance to meet Marc-Andre Tatto from the Midnighter’s and got a chance to check out his S14 240sx.
Both Marc and his 240 have come along way over the years. Marc bought the car in 2002 while he was still in grade 11 and has since then turned it into what it is today. He attended his first local drift event back in 2004 and in 2007 he stepped it up by purchasing a truck and trailer and began hitting American events. Last year he placed 3rd overall in the Evergreen Grassroots Series, and this year he currently sits in 4th.
I enjoyed watching Marc drift during the invitational and although he did wreak his transmission somewhat early in the day, he’s all about having fun and he did just that.
The car started its life out as a 1995 S14 240sx.
