I thought it would be neat to take a look at one of DMCC’s finest, and the best way to understand this AE86 is to understand the man behind it all.
I’m sure most people are familiar with Devin Horsley and his SR-powered Corolla, but they might not know how much Devin loves the platform. I can honestly say I’ve never seen anyone as dedicated to one platform as Devin is, and for that reason he’s the focus of this week’s Wacky Wheel Wednesday.
Usually chassis dedication wouldn’t be enough to warrant a wheel post. But Devin’s attention to detail and understanding of the platform is reflected throughout his entire car, including his wheels.
Work Equip 01’s make for a great wheel post on any given Wednesday.
Devin has a good balance of fitment that also lends to some practical use — and by practical use, I mean, to be used on the track. If anyone has seen videos of Devin driving or been lucky enough to watch Devin on his home track of Race City, then they know what I mean.
For good measure, Devin — like any good drifter — has some spares ready to go.
Is and always will be one of my favorite cars!
this is i think my favorite corolla !
props on that car and F@#K I WANT THOSE WHEELS ON MY NEXT CAR!!!!
without a doubt my favorite car to shoot at drifting events! haha
I’ve made it out to a few events and always have been lucky enough to witness Devin drive this corrolla. I have never seen someone (in person) with so much skill when it comes to drifting this car is just the perfect set up. It just goes to show you how much research and time went into this car. When he drifts it, it is simply just beautiful.
