Elroy Jetson — as in “Meet George Jetson… his boy Elroy” — would be turning in his fictional grave. Despite all the electric, environmentally-friendly visions of the future we have today, we still don’t have flying cars!
On a more serious note, auto shows are notorious for teasing us with the futuristic cars they will never build. Still, I was excited to see the prototypes because they are the automotive industry’s way of saying, “Hey, look at what I can do.”
Starting at Mitsubishi, I would have liked to see some crazy Evo protoype. However, they went with the electric SUV. It seemed to symbolize the fact that even though the future is green, people won’t have to give up their cushy lifestyles.
Driving the point home, we see the power converter plugged into the vehicle.
The fun part about this little diddy is it’s right-hand drive.
Judging from the sneak peeks at the Canadian International Auto Show, it seems one day we’ll all have to go to the “Tashi Station to pick up some power converters.” Alright, that is enough pop culture references for today.
That Miev looks like a longated C+2 however its RHD so it gets a win in my books 😛
