All show and shines have to start somewhere. Remember back to when DODOlogic’s Defrost and Fallout meets began? We didn’t even hit 100 cars. Expecting the first of what should be an annual event to be amazing would just be silly; they get bigger and better over time. With this in mind, the first-ever Beat to the Heat Show and Shine and Sound Off, hosted by Visions Electronics, was still definitely worth checking out.
This car alone made my day. The wide body kit is, in fact, a full Re-Amemiya piece and the subwoofer install under the hatch took “best install” of the day.
Definitely one of the coolest Foresters in Regina owned by Alex Bingham, a Subaru nut through and through.
Breaking up the imports a little bit was this immaculate Trans Am. It’s a car that doesn’t appear on our page very often, but this one was worth the shout out.
Brett Burzminski’s GTI.
I didn’t get a look inside this van, but I was told there were eight 18-inch subs inside. Judging by the amount of amplifiers and batteries rigged up, I believe it. I also didn’t get to see what it clocked in at during the sound competition, but it did rattle my teeth a few times when he cranked it up.
One of the most visually pleasing Subarus running around Regina. I always like seeing this thing in person.
Aidan Wagner’s old Vert, which was recently sold to Ben Schenher, still has the Hello Kitty steering wheel and is still automatic… come on bro, haha. On a more serious note, glad to see this car out and about.
I normally don’t have many good things to say about Mustangs, but this one is killing it. I think it’s the black wheels along with the very subtle lip kit that sets it off.
On my way out, this Audi rolled up on ESM mesh wheels. It had to get its picture taken!
I’m excited to see this event get bigger and better in the future, as it seems there’s a pretty big car audio scene in Regina that I had no idea about. Until another day, guys and girls – thanks for looking!
