Just over a week ago a few of us headed up to Saskatoon to watch some of the open day at SIR. Apart from the freezing winds, cloudy skies and the down pour of rain that hit us on our way home, it was pretty good time. Some of the cars were definitely built for flying in a straight line, and did so amazingly. And some of the vehicles were just out there to have a good time. A few of my favorites were the new GTR which was running high 11s if I remember correctly. Also the R32 Skyline GTR which was running 12s. The black Hayabusa was unreal, who ran constant 10s! A couple other crowd favorites were the fully drag prepared Cavalier and Reginas very own local, Robbie with his Mustang GT. Not much else can really be said, it was a good time, with fast cars. What more can you ask for? Thanks SIR!
And of course what would a trip to Saskatoon be without capping off the night with some Fudruckers? Conversation and jokes were all usual but while we waited for our delicious burgers, you could tell that after seeing all those guys using there cars for what they built them for, we were really feeling the fact that some of our cars are not finished… Soon enough my friends, soon enough.
great pics jhall, jon looks like just the saddest kitty. haha

I work with the guy who built and drives the cavy 😀 completely custom fabricated, powered by a 406. it’s nuts!
