During the 23 hours or so it took to get down to Vegas, I was able to grab a few pictures on just a few of our pit stops.
I really liked the clouds in Montana while we stopped for one our first bathroom breaks. I ordered Ryan to empty his air bags for a couple of very quick shots before everyone got a stretch in and we got back on the road.
Taco Bell is no stranger to us in Canada, but, if you had never left Regina I guess it would be. This certain one was special though, I have never been to the states before and it had lot’s of tasty things we don’t normally get up here. It was a good way to end the first bit of our trip that Saturday.
The second day of our road trip was when things got interesting, rocks and dirt turned from what I call normal beige and brown to a deep red. Flat ground turned to Mountain ranges then back to flat desert.
Here we have a pic of the guys all chipping in with washing Ryan’s car when we we’re about an hour away from our destination. I could definitely get used to living some where doors on a wash bay are never needed!
We literally spend a half hour in Arizona and most that time is spent descending through this canyon .
It was a great moment when I first laid eyes on our home to be for the next week. The road trip was relaxing but very long in my opinion, next year I will have to cash in on some of my credit card rewards and fly there.
Most of SEMA was spent on our feet, so it was nice to be able to drive place.
It would have been an incredible waste for Ryan to bring his car and not get some rollers on the strip.
As the license plates proves, we were a long way from home and we had a long trip back.
