Honky Tonk 240

Corey Gies buys a completely stock, automatic, red 1992 240SX.  Two years later this car has been transformed into a local favorite, and its not hard to see why.  Lets start with the body.  The cars rear was stripped, the rear interior painted an anodized blue, the battery was moved to the back, a bride seat was installed, stock steering wheel replaced and the entire car was painted bright sky blue with none other then a bunch of trusty ol tremclad spray paint cans.  On top of this we find some miss matched aero, a satin purple fender and a ton of humorous/tacky stickers.

Now Im sure your thinking to yourself, yes it looks cool and attention grabbing, but it doesn’t seem that special?…  Well thats when I point out the beautiful 18×9.5 Work XT7s with a +12 offset, this combined with the Ksport coilovers create a super aggressive stance, especially when your looking at it from behind, where those huge wheels poke out of the stock rear bumper.

But… Im sure everyone would agree with me that what really sets this car off is what lies beneath that silly paint splattered hood.  Where all the attention to detail and care was placed.  Under the hood would be an LS1 sporting an LS6 intake manifold and long tube headers,  all of this is controlled by tuned PCM and puts power to that back wheels via a one piece aluminum drive shaft and 2 way lsd differential.  The exhaust created by that big V8 is pushed to the back by a 3 inch exhaust, which creates a beautiful and unique sound, especially for a nissan.  So there you have it, one mean and nasty nissan that car enthusiasts from all over can appreciate.  In conclusion I just want to say that me and everyone involved with DODOlogic says congrats! It was a long haul but you now get to enjoy your project!
