The final installment by Thomas Maier. When you think of Volkswagen one of the things that come to mind are originality, or engine lights. No matter which it is though when you see these cars your train of thought will just turn to the time and effort put towards everyone’s passion.
This neat dune buggy was at the show. There were a lot of people hovering around, it took a while to get a clear shot.
This MK2 was sitting low at the show with some simple but stylish wheels.
This little Cabrio would definitely have some nice pep with that nicely swapped VR6 sitting under the hood.
I just had to throw in another shot of this Beetle with its Porsche Turbo S badge.
Mike Gabreil’ MK5 GTI sitting nice and pretty for the camera as of course this car is beyond nice enough to have two shots taken of it.
The look that sets the R apart from a regular GTI is the dual tip centre exhaust.
The back end of a B5 S4 is just an all around different look how the top of the trunk curves up almost to look like a spoiler.
This car is one that definitely has some character.
This MK5 GTI was sitting on some nice split five spoke Audi rims at the show which is always nice too see when the accessories stay in the Volkswagen family.
This paint colour definitely popped at the show. If this has been restored you would never be able to tell, and if it hasn’t it means the guy should be driving this beauty was more often.
Here is another angle of this MK3 I just cant get over how well this car looks with everything done to it. It definitely takes a good driver not to have a cracked front valance on the car when its that low.
Over all it was an amazing day out at the show great people, great cars and luckily great weather as well. The diversity of cars at the show this year was incredible.
