So as a practice exercise for next weeks edition of the Rundown I decided to deliver this week’s Rundown today, on Tuesday. If you really want the truth as to why the Rundown is a day late, all I can say is that I need to reconsider my schedule as the 3-month old addition to the family has shaken things up a little and what worked before doesn’t necessarily work now. So with that being said, todays edition will once again be short and sweet and hopefully I will get back in somewhat of a routine in the future. Let’s get started……
RyanB spent the weekend in the wonderful city of Winnipeg. What was he doing there you might ask? Well he was taking pictures of cars, both parked and drifting. Chris Gonzalez of Gonzo Drift hosted a drift demo and car show at the local church. Regina’s Kyle Zimmer joined Chris for some shenanigans as well. Ryan will be sharing coverage of the event in the next couple of days. Keep your eyes open!

DODOlogic’s Fallout is just around the corner. We have found a venue and there is just some paper work that needs to be finished up before we can officially announce it. Don’t worry. We will let you know as soon as we can.

Round 6 of the Formula D season took place over the weekend in hot Las Vegas. Rhys Millen took top honours in the same car he used to break records on Pike’s Peak just a week before. Fredric Aasbo finished second and Vaughn Gitten Jr. in third. Next up on the Calendar is the final round of the season at the newly managed Irwindale Speedway in October.

Earlier in the Pro-Am competition Jim Guthrie elegantly placed his 2012 Ford Mustang on it’s roof. Enjoy.

Sebastien Loeb had no issues finishing first for the 7th time this season and 5th time in a row this past weekend at WRC’s Rallye Deutschland. Loeb finished two-minutes ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala and an additional 31 seconds ahead of third place finisher Mikko Hirvonen. The Wales Rally GB is next up in a couple weeks time.

Formula One has been on quite the hiatus lately. No worries though. F1 will be back on your TV in a couple of weeks when the show travels to Belgium for the Belgian Grand Prix of all things.

The GoPro Indy of Sonoma ran on Sunday and this is how the Podium looked after 85-laps of racing:
1. Ryan Briscoe
2. Will Power
3. Dario Franchitti
Canada’s James Hinchcliffe retired early after experiencing mechanical issues on lap 34.
Next up on the IndyCar schedule is Baltimore this weekend.
