Apparently, I am on a Meisters kick as this is the third week in a row I have gone with the Work Wheels. These S1’s belong to Saskatoon’s own Chris Klein. The wheels measure in at 17×9 +15 in the front and 17×10 +15 in the rear. Now that we have the formalities out of the way we can get down to brass tax.
On Saturday night after the Redline meet a few friends got together to hang out. While enjoying each others company, Chris had worked up an appetite for a burn Out. Of course it would be both silly and reckless to perform this stunt on a street so Chris convinced his friends (quite easily mind you) to use their garage for this experiment.
After the guys moved some of the furniture around Chris backed his Silvia into the garage and he did what he came to do. Both Scott and I had committed to capturing this moment on film. I for some reason thought it would be best to position myself inside the garage. The garage quickly filled with smoke and when I had reached my limit of tire smoke, I escaped out the back door to safety.
Scott on the other hand got the sweet end of the deal and shot the S14 from the safety of the great outdoors.
Eventually, the chaos came to an end but the evidence lingered for longer then one would have imaged. So today WWW is dedicated to the dumb things we some time do with our wheels. I suppose in the end “bad decisions make for great stories.” At the very least this should make for a Cool Story Bro!
