This past Saturday our friends from up in Saskatoon known as ‘Redline Society’ held their inaugural ‘Summer Heat’ meet. I personally couldn’t make it, but a few of our content gatherers did so you can expect some coverage in the coming days.

Just in case you missed the news this past week, you should mark Saturday, September 9th on your calendars as that day will host the 2012 version of DODOlogic’s Fallout. Like I mentioned last week our regular venue is currently a dirt hole as work continues on overhauling the Conexus Art Centre’s parking lots. What this means is we need to confirm a temporary venue to use for this year’s Fallout. We are just waiting to hear back on lot rental options and will pass along the location as soon as it is locked down. Formula D Vegas goes down this Friday/Saturday. Just checking the driver’s list I see that Canadians Dave Briggs, Alex Lee and Ian Fournier are all slated to take part in the festivities. From what I understand, Mike Boldt will be down there collecting coverage for us.

The GoPro Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma goes down this weekend at Sonoma Raceway. I wonder if we are going to be seeing Indy Cars looking like this:
