I hope everyone had a good long weekend. I took it easy and spent a day at home with the family, a day at the beach and a day at work. So my long weekend wasn’t so long. I’m not going ot bore you with small talk today. Let’s just get this over with so you can get back to enjoying the nice weather. Let’s begin….
There is only 11 days until DODOlogic teams up with 306MotorClub to bring the masses ‘Summer Session’ up in Saskatoon. It all happens on Saturday July 14th at Circle Drive Alliance Church from 1pm til 6pm. For anyone that has been to Defrost or Fallout, you know it is just a bunch of cars, a bunch of people and a bunch of fun. For everyone making the drive up from Regina we are working on a plan to meet up Saturday morning and make the cruise up together. Keep your eyes pointed at our Facebook page for late breaking details!

We understand that Summer Session conflicts with a couple other large events that decided to take place on the same day. We know we are going to lose some attendees because of this. If this is the case make sure you don’t miss out on Redline Society’s Summer Heat on August 18th up in Saskatoon. Back to back Summer meets in S’toon are going to keep the ball rolling through July and August until we end the season with Fallout here in Regina.

It is too bad that there was almost zero coverage of the X-Games on TV up here in Canuckland. RallyCross happened and it wasn’t viewable to us up here since we don’t get that fancy ESPN channel. From what I have gathered WRC heavyweight Sebastien Loeb made a guest appearance and won. Ken Block finished second and Brian Deegan third.

The only video that I did manage to see what from the jump practice on Friday when Finish driver Toomas Heikkinen could have been a bit cleaner on his landing.

The Drift Union Invitational once again took place in the Okanagan and from what I saw on Facebook over the weekend and epic time was once again had. We will work on putting together some coverage for you hopefully sometime this week.

Indycar spends the next couple of weeks in Canada with the Toronto and Edmonton Indy’s. From what we understand DriftWest is doing a demo at the Edmonton Indy. Go down and check it out.

Next on the Formula One calendar is the British Grand Prix at Silverstone this upcoming weekend.
