A week ago the Calgarian city of Alberta kicked off the summer car scene for a second time with Driven, its biggest car show in two years. After being absent last year due to roof renovations, it came back this year with astonishing street and track platforms. Some of which are frequently seen on the roads while others are babied to only see sunny days and dry smooth roads.
Near the entrance, this now fully converted Civic Type R made its debut with its stupefying clean stance.
Next to it, a very clean RSX Type S battled pretty hard for equal attention.
Following with the Honda theme another well put together RSX made its presence in the show sporting a set of clean RegaMasters wrapped in tight rubber.
These two RWD Hondas were put next to each other to make a strong remark of what track-oriented machines are all about.
This black one drew my attention after I noticed that it was bombarded with Spoon productsm, giving it a clean cut look…
… yet maintaining the aerodynamics necessary to cut through the corners like a razor blade.
Some Mugen parts also made their appearance on this sleek RSX.
It almost seems as though it was brought in from the southern west coast, where summer hits all year around, this fresh DC2 is slammed with clean stock body panels and a shaved bay.
Demo cars also had their part in the play, such as this time attack S2K.
Moving on towards the most desired flag ship platform of Honda, these NSX’s -although stock, surely hit some soft spots.
This one on the other hand, made its presence known with its aggressive look all around.
A futuristic car made in the past.
Changing lanes now, we focus our attention on some european models. A very clean older BMW model. Perfect subtle daily driver.
Sticking to the european market this matte black 6.3 clearly had no competition in its class.
Just beautifully and elegantly put together.
The dub scene was well represented by some of the most exemplar players in the province.
Luxuriousness did not stay at home when they brought this bad boy to the party.
