So as of late Toyota has been taking some serious flack, what with the quality control and such. Let’s be honest, the only car I would worry about having the accelerator stuck open in is the one pictured below. Toyota has done some pretty amazing things in the past with all of its branding, from Scion to Lexus. In the end what is worse a fixable accelerator problem or borrowing millions from the government with no intention of paying it back.
I’ll take the joy ride any day. So thank you Toyota, for the good you have done and the future good you will do. With the LFA out of the way, I am looking forward to the FT86.
at least no one died when the big 3 borrowed money…
they have intentions on paying it back!
Um, thought I’d mention it… but GM will be fully paid back to both Canadian and US governments by Jan of 2011. I doubt it’ll happen. So far they’ve Paid off 1.4 Billion to Canadian/Ontario Government and 6.7 Billion to American Treasury. It still owes 23.4 Billion to American, unsure of what it owes Canada/Ontario.
