I finally found sometime to get around and create my first wheel post! For the longest time I took for granted how awkward and creative you need to be to get a good angle and make the shot look great when focusing on wheels, so props to our trooper Ryan Benoit for pulling this off on a weekly basis. At Driven I must have spent a good portion of time laying on the floor, pondering the most disrespectful thoughts about my shooting positions.
First we have this set mounted on a precious blacked out Ferrari, they really give it a 599 GTO look.
Some old school SSR dori dori mesh with a nice two step lip.
Wire wheels were also present in the show. Somehow this type of wheel always reminds me of beaches, the sun, Impalas and back home.
Here we have some chromed HRE C97’s setup perfect for this VIP style platform.
If you recall from our first Driven post, this oldskool BMW is sporting these really neat e34 M5 M-system wheel covers,.
A nice set of full polished CCW LM20.
You might recall seeing this clean 350Z with blue Varrstoen 2.2’s. The camera angle must have been pretty abnormal to get this purple color now that I notice.
A beautiful match – Work Emotion XD9’s and a Type R color scheme.
Battling for attention next to the Type R, this RSX showcased a distinctive set of Enkei RPF1’s with SBC coating all around.
Near the entrance we had this STi with some Work Emotion XT7’s.
This clean DC2 set the standards for slammed Hondas with this set of custom widened and stepped Regamaster Evo’s.
Last but not the least, what I think the first thing this guy paid more attention to made him stand tall in the wheel hierarchy that day. The specs and color combination match between these Work Meister S1’s and paint made this old Supra better than ever.
those regamasters are unreaaaal
