Lately, I have been taking more pictures than I can keep up with. I mostly fear that I won’t be able to keep up with what I am shooting and that the posts will suffer. What I really mean is that I recently got to shoot some things that I have always wanted to shoot but I have been so busy that I haven’t been able to share them.
Recently, I visited Fatlace in San Francisco and had a chance to tour the Paddock. We won’t get into that today but some day soon we will. I would be a liar if I said that Fatlace didn’t have any influence on DODOlogic.
The best part of this visit wasn’t getting to see everything, but rather getting to meet the people behind the entity that is Fatlace. With that being said it was still pretty cool seeing all the amazing cars that populated the Paddock. The first car that grabbed my attention as I pulled up was this old Corolla.
It was all the small details that got me, this car isn’t about being immaculate it is about character and it had lots of it.
Obviously, one of the details that added character was the wheel fitment. Really, you wouldn’t expect any less from Fatlace. I like to think that it is a requirement of working there but I of course have no clue, what I do know is that it is much obliged on my end.
I don’t know a whole lot about old school Toyotas, but I do know some hardcore Toyota guys and I would never insult them by pretending I know what I am talking about. What I do know is nothing is easy on these old cars, it is more than just a commitment but a way of life.
Me likey!! :))
