Anyone who lives in Saskatchewan is well aware of what the Majestics car show is. It is practically the cornerstone of the automotive season in Saskatchewan. Year in and year out many classic car owners flock to Saskatchewan to show off or just take in the sights.
I had the misfortune of being sick this weekend, but when fellow contributor Jordan Hall asked if I wanted to go to the show I obviously couldn’t pass it up. Jordan decided to leave his camera at home so he could admittedly fill his face with vendor food.
We arrived at the show at came across a few familiar cars in the parking lot.
We didn’t spend too much time wandering the lot, after Jordan had to get a pocket dog. I tried to snap some pictures of Jordan being a monster but they just didn’t turn out. Besides we mostly want to see cars not Jordan eating.
The venue is more famously known for holding the Canadian Agribition, so really this landscape is usually full of livestock, but not this weekend.
I will be the first to admit, I am lost at show like this. Most of my time is spent documenting drifting and drift related media but it is interesting to see just how vast the car scene is.
I am certain I have taken pictures of this car before, so a few more won’t hurt.
The attention to detail on these cars is amazing. The unfortunate part is that when it came to time to load up the cars after the show, it was snowing outside.
Bob the builder grew a moustache and then got into drag racing.
On the way out, Jordan decided to get another pocket dog and some mini-donuts so that he could spend the afternoon on his bathroom floor. I decided to photograph some more palatable food from Majestics 2012.
