Aug. 17 was a beautiful day for illmotion’s 4th Annual Sunday School Show & Shine, and the show did not disappoint. It was planned and organized very well, with multiple DJ’s filling the day with music, delicious food trucks, great people and of course, lots and lots of cars! There were a lot of local car shops in attendance – like Autodream and Vex, just to name a few – displaying some of their shop cars. They were more than happy to talk to you about their cars, your car or just cars in general.
There were a lot of unique cars this year and one that really caught my attention was the 2013 Tesla Model S. What a beautiful car! It’s not something you get to see everyday… or at least I don’t get to anyway.
Mike McConnell had his Subaru-powered Karmann Ghia out at the show. It was very interesting to look at and I would have liked to learn more about it.
It was great to see our good friends from Hotboyz in attendance again this year. They are a great group of guys who are always laughing and having a great time.
I would like to throw out a big congratulations to Jordan Hall for receiving one of the honour awards at this year’s show with his Miata!
If you haven’t been to one of these shows yet and you live in or around Calgary, I suggest you make a note of it in your calendar for next year and come out for a great day of music, food and cars!
