Before we get to what you came here for, let me introduce myself: the name is Lindsay McKaeff. Some of you reading this may already know who I am, some of you may know my car, and some of you may not have an idea who I am. When Kyle Ermel asked me a couple months ago if I was interested in doing a photo shoot for the site, I was more than thrilled to say yes. I do apologize (especially to Tanner Neudorf & Justin Hepp) for how long it took for me to get this posted; after all, it was a short, busy summer… Enough of me though, let’s get to the photos.
Before meeting up with Tanner Neudorf and Justin Hepp, I had only seen their cars a couple of times at previous meets. It’s neat to see something different like their cars.
Tanner and Justin got to know one another because of their Volkswagens. Interestingly enough, they never knew each other until they saw each others’ cars. But isn’t that how most car friends start out? Sometimes it’s nice to have a smaller scene…
These Volkswagens may not be heavily modified, but they’re still pretty darn cool in their own unique ways. Tanner’s Jetta sits on Airlift bags and struts, and it has Accuair Elevel Management. With the help of his dad, he installed the entire set up by himself. He’s got a full turbo-back APR exhaust system and rolls on Mtechnica Turbos 18×8.5 et36 all the way around on a 215/35 tire.Justin’s car, on the other hand, is completely static on FK Silver Line coilovers with Koni adjustable rear shocks. He upgraded to a 3″ Euronext turbo-back exhaust. Wheel-wise, he has Klutch Rebuplik SL-14 rims 18×8.5 et45 with 10mm spacers wrapped in a 215/40 tire.
I had a lot of fun doing this shoot, especially since it was my first one ever for anything other than my own use! Thanks to the guys at DODOlogic for giving me this opportunity.
Great article, amazing photos!
