Red on Blue: Brooks Palidwor’s Evo 8

Posted on June 20, 2014June 20, 2014

I’ve known Brooks Palidwor for quite some time now. Separated by a two and half hour drive, we always catch up in the summer at the meets/shows we both attend. The question we always ask each other is, “What’s left on your build?” While Brooks has been building one of the coolest – if not THE coolest – DA Integra in Saskatchewan, he picked up this EVO8 for a daily driver. He’s been loving it ever since. With AWD, turbo and not completely prone to blowing up, there’s (arguably) no better car for our moody weather here in Saskatchewan. Throwing his personal style at the car and showcasing it at this year’s Defrost event made me really want to have it parked in front of my camera. Let’s get onto the pictures…

Overall the car is extremely clean and the build is fairly simple, yet hard hitting at the same time. You don’t need very much to make these cars look great. Brooks’ exterior mod list is as follows: Evo Dave custom widebody front fenders; Password JDM front license plate holder; Factory SSL package; Factory HID’s, foglights and sunroof; Varis replica front lip, and; Evo9 blackout headlight modification.

Suspension and rollers: 18×9 +20 Work XD9 in limited Matt Blue; 245/38/18 Hankook Ventus Evo tires; HSD coilovers; Hawk HPS brake pads, and; Hotchkis adjustable rear sway bar.

I’m crossing my fingers that Brooks will have his other car out and about this season – and you should be too! Thanks for looking guys and girls.
