I missed Wheel Wednesday last week and you probably didn’t even notice. If you did, I apologize. I was in Las Vegas for my real life job. In fact, last week at this time I was walking through what I usually call the “Wheel Hall” at SEMA; except last week it wasn’t the Wheel Hall, it was the Digital Signage Expo.
Instead of looking at the Falken booth, I was looking at the latest digs by LG and Samsung. However, cars weren’t far from my mind. I thought it would be fun to re-visit that hall and look at a car that had been lurking.
The singular Falken Mustang is driven by Justin Pawlek. Little did we know at that time that Vaughn would be leaving team Falken and would soon be rocking Nitto’s. Falken is now left with only three drivers on the team: the one pictured above, Dai Yoshihara (who is said to be developing a BRZ) and Darren McNamara in his V8 S-Cahssis. It sounds like this upcoming season will be full of surprises and it will be fun to see how Falken holds up.
It wouldn’t be a wheel post if I didn’t mention the HRE Competition Series C21 wheels. But let’s be honest; I didn’t really want to just talk about his wheels. I was more interested in mis-appropriating my Wednesday post.
