This week is a little out of the ordinary. As you can probably tell by the tire below, we aren’t dealing with anything we’ve done before. But I assure you this is still all about wheels.
This is the Regina Mobile Tire truck. As you might imagine, they make house calls. I first came across this truck at the Pumpkin Smash Bash Drift event and after rave reviews from some friends I decided to give them a try.
It is a mobile tire shop that can sell, mount and balance tires. What makes it really awesome is that it isn’t more expensive than going to a shop. Even better then that, they didn’t complain about having to do a slight tire stretch as so many other shops have done to me in the past.
What really makes me smile is that DODOlogic was actually formed around trucks like this, except they didn’t have awesome tire equipment in the back. They were FedEx Ground trucks and a few founding members had to load them. Now, I usually only pay attention to trucks like this when they have a kitchen and sell me food. However, this is perhaps the most inventive and ingenious uses I’ve seen from one of these trucks.
So there you have it. Instead of showing you someone else’s wheels, I gave you a solution when it comes to how to take care of your own wheels and tires. And my Celsior is one step closer to being prepped for our road trip to SEMA.
whoa! mad cool, I do tires at a tireshop and have for the last 2 years but never seen a mobile tire truck of this caliber, we have mobile trucks but nothing like this.. would be a great investment to make one of these and put a trailer and tow your car behind to drift events.. whats a used tire machine cost 1000$ ? if that.
