Wheels of this variety and size fall outside of the norm for me. In fact you will notice that I didn’t even take these pictures. These Regamaster Evo’s belong to the person who snapped the pictures and is coincidentally a photographer for us.
We try to keep features on our own cars to a minimum as it can blur the line between media and crew. However, after seeing the response Scott’s Civic got on Facebook we decided it would be worth mentioning.
This EG was bought brand new in 1995 by an old lady and used as a grocery getter. Before it found it’s way to Scott, it has been owned by two other Honda enthusiasts. Those two owner took special care of this civic, the first owner following the little old lady was responsible for the B18C that found its way into this chassis.
Scott wanted to keep this car as light as possible, so the stock interior was gutted and other interior parts were swapped for its SI counter-parts. As it sits right now the car weighs 950KG(2090 pounds) without Scott in it of course.
After that it was time for a full suspension and brake swap. Much of this was provided by a GSR Integra and I am told the stock suspension from the EG came out with no problems.
Scott also picked up a turbo kit and plans are to install it over the winter along with a tuck and fresh paint under the hood.
Scott was nice enough to leave us with a complete parts list and although this more then I usually include for a WWW, it is sometimes important to look at the whole picture instead of focusing on one aspect.
