It’s Monday. This is the Monday Morning Rundown. I am Dave. Not really sure what to tell you about today. I am just going to throw tidbits out at you and hopefully you find them somewhat interesting. Oh yeah, thank you to RyanB for taking care of the Rundown last Monday. He is a pretty cool guy. Let’s begin……..

If you missed it last week that ‘cool guy’ made a little video of tandem action from Evergreen a couple of months back. You should watch it. It’s good.

Speaking of drifting, the inaugural season of the Driftwest Series wrapped this past weekend on a portion of the new roadcourse at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton. Our very own Tony Koch was there. I am sure he will have some coverage for us in the next little bit.

Regina’s Kyle Zimmer was named as the series Most Improved Rookie. Congrats Kyle!

So there is a Drifting event taking place at Kings Park in Regina. Chris Klein has set this little deal up and he wants to see you there. We do too.

The final Round of the Formula D season is closing in fast. It should be a doooooozy. After all the hoopla surrounding Irwindale back in the spring, everything is set up and ready to go on October 11th and 12th. I am pretty sure this event will be the biggest ever for Formula D.

I don’t know what it is, but I have found myself progressively losing interest in this year’s Formula One season. I didn’t even realize there was a race until I noticed the replay on SPEED while flipping through channels last night. Enough of my sob story. Here is the podium from Singapore:
1. Sebastian Vettel
2. Jenson Button
3. Fernando Alonso
The next race on the F1 calendar is Suzuka in a couple of weeks.

I started this weeks Rundown with a video of Drifting. I will close this weeks post with another video of drifting. This one is of Driftwest Round 3 and was put together by Mike McConnell. Enjoy!
