Good morning. Thanks for coming by to check out the Monday Morning Rundown. I will warn you now it will once again be quick and to the point today. So I will talk about the little meet that took place yesterday here in Regina and then touch on some other things that went on this weekend in the automotive world. Let’s get started….
Yesterday DODOlogic hosted our second annual Fallout meet. I am going to sound like a broken record here but once again we are extremely impressed with the turnout as we are every time we host one of these things. So once again thank you to everyone that made it out, without you guys (and girls) these meets wouldn’t be what they have turned into. However the real people we should be thanking are the ones that help make the events possible, the sponsors. As always we need to thank Taylor Scion for once again getting on board helping make things happen. Taylor Scion was gracious enough to supply the music for the day’s festivities so hats off to them for that. Also worthy of thank you is Valet Auto Spa who showed up and contributed to the event for the first time.

I should probably come clean right now and admit that I didn’t even go to Fallout yesterday. It is the busy time of the year at work and instead of relaxing and enjoying the cars and people at Fallout I spent 14 hours on or near to a hot matte of asphalt. So if I am off on some of my info about the meet yesterday please excuse me, I only chatted briefly with a couple of guys to see how things went.

Oh yeah. Thank you to our old buddy Shawn Peasley who donated a package for an Exterior Restoration. For several reason’s the planned method of give-away was foiled so so watch our Facebook page for your chance of winning.

BTW. The final car count from yesterday’s meet was 275 give or take a few.

Mathew Byer posted up this photo on the Facebook event wall from his drive home last night…….pretty funny.

So with Fallout done we can look forward to next season’s schedule of meets. In the mean time we are thinking we should do another Hard Parker’s Ball in the winter months, Keep your eyes open for details.

Formula One raced at Monza yesterday. This is how the podium shaped up:
1. Lewis Hamilton
2. Sergio Perez
3. Fernando Alonso
Next up on the F1 schedule is Singapore in a couple of weeks.

The 2012 IndyCar season wraps this upcoming weekend in Fontana, California. Will Power and Ryan Hunter-Reay will be battling out for the championship trophy.

Sorry. That’s all I have for today. I need to go back to work now. Thanks again to our sponsors and attendees for making Fallout a huge success!
