It would seem that since Dave spent a week up North sans technology, he has decided to do away with the internet. Or possibly some Regina residents have been having issues with their internet. Whichever the case, I will step in to fill the Monday morning void, however the only thing that ever happens in my realm of the automotive world is drifting. I just so happen to have some more photos from Formula Drift Round 5.
Rhys “Mad Skills” Millen of course finished third last weekend in Washington.
Conrad Grunewald took advantage of the false start rule, not once, not twice but thrice to edge out Daigo Saito.
JR of coursed finished first, giving him two back to back wins for the last two events. Changing the entire outcome of the series and putting yet another Falken driver in contention for the championship. If you are new to drifting, Falken is like the New York Yankees of drifting.
The RS-R S15 was looking mighty good all weekend long, even when it lost its hood on the back straight.
Drift Alliance just being Drift Alliance.
Walker Wilkerson was the home town hero and just all around stand up guy.
Fredric Aasbo must have been tired as he has been globe trotting over the last few weeks. It wasn’t too long ago he was on the other side of the ocean running his 2J powered FR-S.
Pat Mordaunt was at the event, which answered my question as to where has he been? I feel like I haven’t seen a lot of this car this season.
Chris “the Force” Forsberg will have my undying respect for earning that nickname and designing his race suit to look like a Rogue Squadron flight suit. Also, drive a 370Z with a Nissan V8 in it is pretty cool but not as cool as the whole Star Wars thing.
This is right before Essa hit the wall. I am curious to see if the car repairs will be done by Vegas.
