Feature: Going, Going, Gonzo

Gonzo (Chris Gonzalez) is no stranger to DODOlogic and DODOlogic is no stranger to Gonzo. You’ve probably gathered that if you’ve followed us for any length of time. Gonzo has successfully created a bromance with our entire publication and we’re so happy to see him live his dream. Last weekend we drove a few hours to help support his drifting habit.

Our travels brought us to Gonzo’s home town of Winnipeg for a fundraiser and a night out on the town. The next morning we woke up early and met for a well needed meal.
We settled on the pancake house, probably because it is original and air conditioned. It wasn’t hot out, but it is nice to have the luxury of A.C in case you need it… and as I always say: “If it’s important enough to put on a sign, then it’s important enough to mention.”

We all enjoyed delicious variations of breakfast heart attacks.

Gonzo thought it was important to get his fill of Canadian iced tea as the following weekend he would be south of the border and unable to obtain Canada’s take on it.

So after Gonzo got his fill, we pulled the LS-powered S14 out for a few photos.

Gonzo did not have his sponsor decals on yet, so he drove around with a steering wheel hanging out the window to make up for it.

This off-season, the car saw the right end of spray can and a kouki front end.
