This past May long weekend we had a chance to head east of our home base here in Saskatchewan, and make our way to Winnipeg for the Gonzo Drift social. While there we were introduced to Clyde Sayuno, and he was kind enough to take some time out of his day to show us his supercharged 1991 Acura NSX.
The exterior body is mostly OEM other then the Stacey side skirts and the carbon fiber NSX-R rear wing.
Clyde’s NSX is sitting on Enkei RPO3’S, 17×8 +40 on the front and 17×9.5 +30 on the rears paired with a 20mm spacer. The front wheels are wrapped with 215/40/17 Advan AD08’s and the rears are wrapped with 255/40/17 Nitto NT’S
A CT Engineering twin screw super charger makes it self home atop the engine. You’ll also find a set of CT Engineering headers along with CT Engineering’s Stainless Cat-back exhaust system.
The interior is kept simple and clean only containing a MOMO steering wheel and two aftermarket gauges tastefully mounted in the center console.
There is no doubting that the NSX is an amazing car, it is always a head turner and perhaps one of the most perplexing cars to non-enthusiast as they can quite place the make. Clyde even got a few head nods that day, one from a Ferrari and one from the police, and as we learned gaining approvalĀ from the Winnipeg police for having an unreal car is no small feat.
