Hello again DODOlogic readers, lets start off with the obvious. I don’t post much, and haven’t been as much as I should. So this year I want to expose more of the Alberta and beyond drifting scene to you all.
What I would like to know is what you readers want to see? Car features on cars like Travis Clark’s 240sx Vert?
Or perhaps you would like to know how last years DMCC rookies like Nathan Forsberg will fair in this years coming Drift West series.
DMCC Rookie of the year Jesse Wiesner is looking to compete in the full Drift West series this year as a pro driver. I think his car looks really awesome without paint!
Drift West is Spec-D’s solution to DMCC pulling out of the west this year, with four stops planned for this summer it should be a very exciting season. With three rounds happening in the Edmonton area, ill be sure to keep everyone up to date with the series and whats going on behind the scenes.
Another driver looking to make a huge splash this year is Shawn “The Ice Man” Hartum.
Over the winter Shawn employed the likes of 4Kruzin to help bring his Rx7 FC up to par with some of the brand new V8 builds in the series. The result is this ear popping tire shredding monster seen before you.
Speaking of V8’s here’s a S13, powered by a Toyota 1UZ!
Not everyone is jumping into the V8 space race though. Travis Clark has always been a threat in the DMCC series and shows no signs of slowing down in 2012. A new livery covers his car for this year, really making the flat white vert stand out even more.
Also still in the boosted four cylinder crowd is Drift Farms Kurtis Goat. With tandem action like this coming on an open Sunday practice I cant wait too see what the different drivers and teams will bring to the table in 2012.
So leave me some feed back in the comments section and let me know what you would like to see this year!
Ill close this article out with a shot of Saskatchewan native Robby Kubica’s 300zx laying down rubber. Robby made the drive all the way out from Saskatoon to participate in Spec D’s Sunday Funday event in Edmonton
