Monday means it is time for everyone’s ‘favourite’ read. Last Monday the website had it’s biggest day to date. What did those people see? The Rundown of course. What did they come wanting to see? Defrost pictures. 🙁 Let’s begin…….
So it has been a whole week since we all stood around in a pothole riddled parking lot last Sunday at a ‘little’ meet called Defrost. Not much has changed since then except that the weather took a nasty dive to the single digits and some peoples skin has started to flake off. We just wanted to thank everyone once again for coming out and showing their support of the local scene. It has made people take notice and as a result of that opportunities are presenting themselves. Only time will tell what is around the corner. That being said we are led to believe the parking lot will be repaved in time for Fallout. Hopefully it is available for us to use.

Also once again thank you to Taylor Scion for being a major resource in helping make Defrost happen. We decided to take the proper measures this time in securing the venue and in turn money had to exchange hands in order to use the lot. We are at the point now where we just can’t show up in a parking lot and shoot the shit, the number of attendees garners attention. So companies like Taylor Scion, Sakurajima Express and Red Bull must be commended for facilitating events like this. Thanks again!

Our beloved RyanB has traveled west ahead of several other local personalities in preparation for his wedding this upcoming Friday in Vancouver. Ryan wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to check out the scene in far away places even just few days ahead of his wedding day. Ryan will be supplying coverage Tuesday of the All Japanese Classic Show that took place at the Spanish Banks in Vancouver yesterday. The dude even has a couple things up his sleeve for his honeymoon which will take him to places like San Fransisco. Jodi must be thanked.

I was flipping through the channels last night when I thought I saw WRC on my screen. I figured it was just highlights or something until I checked out my guide to see that it was in fact the WRC Argentina recap show on SPEED. The WRC hadn’t been seen on Canadian televisions for 7 years until last night. Bravo SPEED! Now how about Dakar?

Petter Solberg claiming 9 of the last 10 stages wasn’t enough to stop Sebastien Loeb from claiming his 7th straight win in Argentina. Citroen teammate Mikko Hirvonen secured second while up and coming Ford driver Mats Ostberg finished 3rd. Next up is the Acropolis Rally in Greece.
