First and foremost, we would all like to thank Taylor Scion for their help. We would also like to say thank you to Redbull and Sakurajima Express. The sponsors really pulled together and made this happen, it’s really great to see people get behind the scene in Saskatchewan.
We were blown away by the turn out and we were amazed to see such a variety of cars come out. Even more amazing was that people came an hour early to get a good spot and by the time the meet actually started at 1:00PM we had trumped last years attendance.
I headed over to the entrance and pretty much shot at anything that moved.
It is kind of like the first day of hunting season. So in that spirit, I found some cover and waited. It wasn’t long until this ode to Rusty Slammington drove by.
After sitting at the front entrance for while I noticed that the lot had filled up, so I walked around collecting a sunburn and photos. I am pretty sure that I was not the only one who was not ready for the sun and its adverse effect.
I didn’t get to meet the driver of this car but he wasn’t messing around. This car scrapped every where and regardless of your thoughts on lowered Subarus, you have to give it to him for being committed.
I honestly was starting to think that I would never see this ITR again but low and behold here it is. This car use to be our bread and butter back when we started this crazy experiment that is now DODOlogic. Kyle is a DODO contributor so it is nice to see his cars contributing to the landscape once again.
I know this isn’t Bingham’s pride and joy, because his pride and joy is red, has a boxer engine and lots of horse power. Although, he was awesome enough to get into the spirit and brig out this Audi.
I don’t really know all too much about this car but I would like to. I had to wait a long time to get a clear shot.
So before you get upset and think that is all the pictures we will post, just relax. There are plenty of days in the week. We will be posting up more coverage of the event as the week unfolds. See you soon!
Stocked to see Kyle’s mean machine fresh and clean again!
