Good day. Happy Monday. Usually I take care of writing this little diddy on Sunday night before I hit the sack. Guess what, not this week. The 2012 drift season is right around the corner. All the regional Pro-Am and Pro series will kick of in the next few weeks here and that means tire companies are licking the chomps at the extra revenue sure to make it their way. Like any responsible business Bridgestone isn’t putting all their eggs into the drifting basket. Instead they have started putting eggs into the Hardparker basket with these:

The Formula D season is almost here. Teams and their drivers are busy building and testing their new and revamped chassis for Round 1 in Long Beach on April 6-7. A couple of those new chassis include Daigo Saito’s SC430 rumoured to have in the area of 1200hp, Dave Briggs new 350Z and of course Ken Gushi’s new Scion FR-S.

Round 3 of the WRC season went this past weekend in the central Mexican state of Gunajuato. Going into the weekend, Sebastien Loeb had won the previous five Rally Mexico titles. Next year he will be coming back as the six-time defending champion as he once again piloted his Citroen through the stages faster than everyone else.
