Happy Monday! Those of you who know me are aware that I am dabbling in some renovation work during the off-season from my ‘real’ job. I spent all of last week in wonderful Shaunavon, Saskatchewan and put in an honest 75 hours of work in 5-days. The boss was driving us back late Friday evening when he almost put the truck and trailer into the ditch just outside of Swift Current. My life flashed before me while I wondered what would everyone have done without the Rundown? HAHAHA. No one cares about my stupid Rundown. Let’s begin….
Our crew of media wannabe’s, also known as Ryan Benoit and Devan Francis, made the trip yesterday to NissanFest at Evergreen Speedway just outside of Seattle. It sounds like it was a long day with and even longer wait at the border to get back into the motherland. I am sure Ryan and Devan will have something to share with everyone in the next few days. For now you can look at a picture of Ian Fournier warming his tires before the Formula D season kicks off in a couple of weeks. RyanB tells me his car sounds like, “the mountains are caving in!”

The second annual Defrost Spring Meet takes place in about 4-weeks. Keep you eyes and ears open for more details in the coming days.

Formula 1 happened in Malaysia yesterday. Guess what? Vettel finished 11th. Like WTF? Anyway I didn’t see the race since I was sleeping like most normal humans, but it looks to me that maybe there is some parity this year? Tell me otherwise if I am off my rocker. Here is how the podium shaped up:
1. Fernando Alonso
2. Sergio Perez (Yay Mexico!)
3. Lewis Hamilton

Vodafone Rally du Portugal is next weekend and Ken Block won’t be there to do what he did last year:

Penske’s Helio Castroneves won the opening IndyCar Series race at St Petersburg, Florida on Sunday. Castroneves had the lead with twenty-two laps remaining and stretched his lead to over 6-seconds before letting off the throttle late in the race. Ganassi Racing’s Scot Dixon was second, followed across the line by Ryan Hunter-Reay of Andretti Autosports. Next up is April Fool’s Day in Alabama.

Top Secret had dropped Ray’s/Volk as their wheel of choice last year. Enkei is now showing off their new affiliation with the best of the best in Japan.

And I leave you today with one of the big changes coming to Formula D this season.
