Some people might ask why have a car event when you can’t even bring your car? The answer is simple, so that we can drink until we forget that winter is awful and perhaps life would be better in a warmer climate.
So, in true prairie fashion, we drank until we couldn’t feel feelings anymore and to us it was a great success.
It was actually a great night, we met some new people and had chance to find out about them and their rides.
And we also caught up with some familiar faces.
Apparently some people played pool, it never really crossed my mind, but as the night went on my sense of logic bordered on the edge of extinction.
Chase took some time out from building his S13 Silvia and met up with some of Regina’s more veteran enthusiasts.
By “more veteran,” I of course mean old and nobody is as old as old man Gohlke. Perhaps this picture can help us understand the real reason The Monday Morning Rundown wasn’t done on Monday.
From this picture you would think that Jordan Hall was driving around town with the roof down on his Miata but nope, that hairdo was intentional.
It wasn’t all fun, some of it was games too. Kalvin won one of the draws and picked up some swag and a one-off DODOlogic hat. Kalvin wanted me to quote him by saying, “I haven’t been this excited since I was six years old on Christmas morning.” It was a little more slurred when he said it, but you get the picture.
Adrian and Aidan are 100% talking about cars in this picture. It is their thing that they do.
Not every couple is lucky enough to share the interest of cars, so as you would imagine as the night went on there was a little bit of this.
This handsome fellow came out to show his support to both us and Gonzo, he wasn’t the only one but his picture turned out the best. On an unrelated note the shirts are now on sale, if you would like to purchase one please email us at merch@dodo-logic.ca or hit us up on Facebook.
