It gives us great pleasure to announce that Gonzo Drift and DODOlogic have joined forces and created this collaboration. We here at DODOlogic wanted to do something nice for our friend and the local drift scene and this is what we came up with.
Almost three years ago, near the beginning of this whole experiment, we met a car enthusiast. This guy named Chris Gonzalez traveled all the way from Winnipeg to Regina just so he could learn how to drift in what was maybe one of the cleanest S14 Zenki Silvias we had ever seen. A lot has changed since that rainy day in May. Chris’ clean S14 has had a few love taps and has doubled the number of cylinders. Also Chris is no longer Chris, he is simply Gonzo.
Gonzo no longer takes a simple 5-hour jaunt west to drive, he now drives all over the U.S. and Western Canada to compete. As you can imagine this can get pretty expensive, pretty quick. Now we know you are asking what can we do to help? Well the answer is simple, buy a T-shirt. All the proceeds from the Gonzo/DODOlogic collaboration will go towards Chris and his 2012 season. So not only do you get to support a drifter just trying to make in the world, you also get to look damn good doing it.
The shirts will go on sale next week to the general public but anyone attending the Hard Park’ers Ball this Saturday at the Broken Rack in Regina will get the first opportunity to purchase one.
