SEMA Show 2011: Space Invader

Posted on December 6, 2011December 5, 2011

First thing that comes to ones head when they see something like this is “WANT”. Say hello to the latest creation from Tanom Motors, the Invader TC-3.

This little diddy is powered by a 1340cc liquid-cooled Suzuki Hayabusa engine. Its got 195hp @ 9500 rpm. The Hayabusa engine rockets this thing 0-60 in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 220km/hr. With all that performance it still manages to maintain a 28 mpg city and 35 mpg highway rating.

The power gets put to the ground through a 6 speed constant mesh manual transmission to a 20×16 Mickey Thompson tire. The rear suspension is a sport bike inspired swing arm with a single adjustable coilover.

The chassis is made of 1.5” tubular steel and has an integrated roll cage built in.
