The Wednesday night of SEMA Show week in Vegas brought about the perfect surprise. Well, it wasn’t really a surprise, it was more of waiting game. I had used the power of the internet a few weeks prior and deduced that there was going to be a car meet. The only issue is we didn’t know the location of the meet until we left the hotel room. We we’re just about to give up then I stumbled across the Lowballers Facebook page where they had posted an open invitation.
Just at the south end of the strip past the infamous ‘Welcome to Las Vegas’ sign, the cars all met in the empty parking lot of the local Callaway Golf store.
After walking through the halls of SEMA it was refreshing to be at a local meet with local enthusiasts. One of my fellow DODOlogic contributors commented that “the cars of the internet actually exist.”
Everyone was nice and nobody thought it was strange that I was walking around with a tripod. Perhaps they would have thought it was weird that I brought it specifically all the way from Saskatchewan just because of this meet.
The amount of proper VIP cars in attendance was amazing. This meet was one of the highlights of the trip.
Although the VIP cars made up a large portion of the cars in attendance, there was still a pretty decent variety of tuners like this Toyota.
The temperature was a little low for Vegas, and because it was SEMA week there were plenty of people from other states visiting with their rides. We still have plenty of photos s0 we will break this meet up into a few more posts in the coming weeks. I hope you don’t mind waiting to see more.
Great post! and Epic meet, cant wait to see some more!
