Less than a month ago Lexus debuted the Lexus GS F Sport at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Picture a fourth generation GS350 but a just a little bit more boss. Lexus just recently released the the hybrid version of this car at the L.A. Auto Show, however we weren’t there to cover it. Let’s be honest though, most people would rather here about this “F” ing GS.
The GS F Sport comes in two different drive-trains, RWD and AWD. The RWD model boasts a 0-60mph time of 5.6 seconds while the AWD takes an extra .3 seconds to reach the same notch on the dial. That’s not all, the RWD version has a top speed of 142mph while the AWD makes it up to 131mph. If it means anything to anyone, not only will the RWD variation go faster but it will go longer as it gets better gas mileage.
Regardless of the drivetrain, the car comes equipped with a 3.5 litre V6 that makes 306hp, and 277 lb-ft of torque.
The rear-driven model comes equipped with 19’s in a staggered width with 8 inches up front and 9″ in the back.
The interior comes in red for those feeling brave enough to look at it every day, but also comes in a brown/tan if you got no love for the red.
So apparently I know how to read the brochure and yes features like this are not the norm here for us here at DODOlogic. That being said, now that we have been introduced to the GS with the F Sport package we can look forward to meeting 5-Axis’ rendition on another day.
I like the vehicle as a whole except for the front bumper… idk if its the angles of the shot or not. But to me it looks like its just over done and choppy which is unusual for Lexus…
