Jeremy and his Acura Integra RS were just one of the many vehicles at the July 20th Road Course night in Calgary. If you had a chance to look at our coverage of the Spec-D Road Course Night. You may think a measly Integra would find it self lost amidst some of the other cars that where also there, you’d be wrong. Jeremy’s car instantly caught my attention when he hit the track. Not only did it sound impressive, it looked impressive as well.
The car is a 1994 Acura Integra RS (ITR Look-a-Like). Under the hood sits at home a Benson Signature Series Sleeved B20 bottom end, which is micropolished and balanced to 11,000 RPM. This is one of a very limited number of Benson Signature Series blocks. Above that sits a B18C1 GSR head with ITR valvetrain, and a Garrett T04E Turbo. The transmission is an ITR tranny built with Syncrotech 1st through 5th gear synchros and a Kazz LSD. Jeremy runs an HKS F-Con V-pro, currently he knows of no other Honda running a V-Pro in Canada. The car made 287 WHP and 256 WTQ running on low cam (no VTEC) at 6800 RPM.
Other mods:
HKS AFK Wideband
HKS EVC-S Boost controller
Willwood Brake Kit (12” two piece rotors)
Chase Bays Milspec wiring harness (Raychem and nylon sleeved to make it fire retardant)
Work Emotion XD-9’s 17×7.5 and 17×8.5
Momo Bucket seat and steering wheel
ITR gauge cluster
A very impressive car that slips under the radar of most people.
