Cruise Weekend: Midday at Speedtech

Posted on August 30, 2011August 29, 2011

This past weekend was cruise weekend in Saskatoon. Cruise weekend is huge and mostly reserved for classics. This however didn’t stop  Speedtech from putting on their own little show this past Saturday.

Speedtech is one of the few successful speed shops in Saskatchewan. In fact, a few of their employees are active members of the drift scene.

Speaking of members from the local drift scene, here is Wade Longstaff looking like a boss after recently swapping a 1j swap into his 180SX.

Peter Guan drives this S2K, even if you don’t know Peter you should add him as friend on facebook. He is like the food network of facebook. He always posting amazing looking food and it would seem that he eats six square meals a day.

This S14 has served as the face of Saskatoon drifting for the last little bit, it belongs to Anthony Philibert.

This NSX belongs to the owner of Speedtech in Saskatoon.

“Well, hello there!”

I should have had something funny to say about this… But, I don’t. So, well played sir.

Cam Klein and his majestic animal T-shirt barely need an introduction. If you use the internet you have probably met him. On the right is Jesse Ollivier, a man wise beyond his years.

If I am not mistaken this Mustang is super charged, but then again I could be mistaken.

The show came complete with a  DJ doing DJ type things.
Peter and Jesse apparently both took this picture in a weird direction but they posed for it so I assume they want me to post it.
This Lexus is powered by a 2J, which makes for one awesome Lexus.
The show was not exclusive to new cars, some older classics made it out.
Aside from cars, Speedtech also specializes in these lifted trucks. They are pretty cool but I don’t know a thing about them so….yeah.
Standing around looking like a boss must have taken a lot out of Wade, that or he had a few too many the night before.
