I can honestly say that I haven’t been to a show like DTP in a very long time, if ever. Tucked away in a warehouse district somewhere in Vancouver is Rocky Mountaineer Station. A surprisingly trendy building that shares a street with Homedepot and the Vancouver city Skyline. Although, the parking lot is where much of the action was found.
There were a few different takes on the S2K, this hardtop was one of my favourites. The NSX next to it wasn’t bad either.
Richmond’s A & J Racing had a strong presence at the show, but we will get to that another day.
This RX-7 was one of the few RHD at the show. I thought it fishy but later it was explained to me that ICBC makes it harder on B.C. residents to own a RHD. They are by no means illegal, but apparently they’re quickly written off when accidents arise. I am sure there is a more complex contributing answer but I am not lawyer, so drop it.
Satin colors have a warm place in my heart. Also, someone may have been handing out free license plate covers that seem to often get left behind.
This civic boasted an impressive 575Hp.
Obviously a lot of planning went into the show, The parking lot was lit up with lamps that event organizers brought in.
That s2k is sex!
Man I wish I woulda been there
Haha I was following that s2000 in VAncouver in 2008, after formula D. Shit was fast
