Over the last couple of months I have spent Sunday Evenings and for the most part early Monday Mornings trying to put together one of these ‘Rundowns’ for all to read. Am I telling you what you want to hear? Is there something else you want to know about? Let me know by leaving a comment. Otherwise let’s get started…..

The Western Canadian drift season seems to be going full steal ahead. In the next couple of weeks we have D-Spec starting up their Calgary Practices, The DMCC West pro series takes place at Race City, Drift Union is hosting a little get together in Penticton and us flatlanders are getting together on an old airbase in Manitoba. What does this all mean? Not much except for lots of drifting coverage in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned……..

Dan Cyr put together a nice little package of what he saw at Round 2 of the Formula D season in Atlanta. If you haven’t seen it already, here you go.

Round Three of the 2011 XDC circuit took place in Florida over the weekend. This is how things looks after the smoke cleared:

2nd — Chelsea DeNofa
3rd — Jeremy Lowe
4th — Nate Hamilton

The only time I think I have ever seen a Swede in a Viper is Sam Hubinette making lots of noise and smoke in his old drift unit. When was the last time you saw a Viper in a Swede? Look no further……

It turns out Tanner Foust is actually good at RallyCross. He took first place at Round 2 of the European Championship in Portugal over the weekend. The ERC is where the best of the best in RallyCross play.

And I end this week’s Edition with a useless fact you cab share with all your car friends. In 2010 Acura sold only 33 of their RL’s in Canada.
Acura RL retails for more than cars like 5 series BMW’s and Audi A6’s. At that price point the German cars come off as a deal and carry more prestige points on your driveway. (Nobody knows that an Acura RL is anymore) Plus Acura’s own MDX cost about the same new, and arguably does more of everything.
