It is in this garage we find some kind of black magic or sorcery; it’s a place where triangles spin and make power. This magical place is local enthusiast Evan Bahr’s garage. Usually I shy away from really discussing — or even showing — the people behind their cars, but I’m trying something new. These cars are shaped by the people who build them, and those people help contribute to the local scene. Sometimes it’s not just shooting a car but capturing a moment… or maybe I’m just getting really lazy!
There was smoke but no fire… what gives?
It’s hard to tell from the pics but the garage was full of people pestering Evan with questions. With his car nearing completion, it drew a crowd. If you haven’t discovered it yet, Evan is building a Mazda RX-7 — a FC to be exact.
Here is another local enthusiast helping out. Corey seems to shy away from the lime light — well that, and the intense work light probably doesn’t help.
Don’t worry, we’re still about the cars. Here is quick shot of Evan’s soon-to-be completed engine. Evan’s had a hand in many other local builds, so it’s nice to see his attention to detail is finally benefiting him directly.
