A few weeks ago we paid Nick’s garage a visit to check out his S chassis Build. Nick has been into drifting pretty much since it started in Regina. He attended pretty much every drift event, and when his younger brother picked up a Skyline, Nick got him hooked on it to. Nick’s passion for drifting hasn’t faltered over the past few years, that is why it is so exciting to see him take it to the next level.
Nick decided to ditch the stock bumper and go with a full kit. The new bumper should allow some more space for the greddy front mount intercooler. He will also add an aftermarket B.O.V. and a turbosmart manual boost controller.
The car originally showed up in Regina with some unknown coilovers, a momo deep dish wheel, and some nismo wheels in a less then desirable offset. The wheels are 17×7.5 with ichiba 25mm spacers, I want very bad to see Nick switch out for something more aggressive.
You may ask yourself why something more aggressive? Well, the first part of Nick’s build is just the basics that you would expect to see from most any S chassis builds. It is what comes next that will start to set Nick apart. I am not going to get ahead of Nick on this, but he did not strip the inside for the aesthetics of it. However, we will save the plans for our next few posts about Nick.
Inside Nick’s garage is great (minus the cold weather) stuffed in there along with his S chassis is his brothers Skyline and racks of rubber.
Nick rocked the first DODOlogic sticker way back when, even though that logo is dead and gone it shows how long we have known Nick. So we will keep you up to date on this little build, can’t wait to see the finished product.
